Reda is an Iraqi illustrator, calligraphist, and visual artist born in Baghdad and living in Finland. Through his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Baghdad and curiosity for new techniques, he has found his style rich in detail.
Human figures and combinations of traditional Arabic calligraphy and Western style are typical characteristics of his art. Several illustrations are based on complex relations between female and male figures.
I believe that an illustrator should never get stuck in a single style. Studying new techniques has led me to discover the world from diverse perspectives.
My ambitions and multilayered stories and enchanting visual works have delighted many projects.
I am inspired by people and nature and also I am inspired by Picasso’s work and that was the first motivation for My art journey.
My art combines harmonious abstract and modern present moments. I try to make my works affect people’s lives. With my artworks I wish you to experience joy, hope, happiness, power, inspiration, peace, and faith that everything will be alright.
